- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Disappointing group of folks. My call was simple - I need to pay a ticket. The lady who answered said "could be this county or this other county" where the ticket has to be paid (i.e. not helpful). Only when I questioned how it is possible that they are unaware of what county I must pay a ticket in when the ticket was issued by an officer in their office .... finally she was helpful. However, my appreciation for the assistance ceased once I called the county magistrate and discovered that the Natural Resources Officer had not entered my ticket yet after 4 days. They told me it takes the Department of Natural Resources up to 2 weeks to enter tickets and then recommended I keep checking their website for updates. I am giving one star b/c I am very disappointed. I am not sure what portion of this office is supposed to be of service to the public.By RB Sr, May 14, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) Boater Education Program offers a safe boater class. It teaches the fundamentals of safe and responsible boating. This is a free six (6) hour instructor-led classroom course. Our class was offered in a one day format. We finished in just under 6 hours and it was a very good class with an excellent instructor. Highly recommend the class. It was attended by a wide age group 12 to 60+By James Blass, May 09, 2017
